

Clicking on any item will sell it (you’ll be prompted before selling legendary items to minimise accidental sales).

Interact with a vendor, then navigate to the right-hand side of your screen – this is your inventory. You can also sell items yourself by visiting a vendor in town. Once they return, their inventory will be emptied and your bank balance will be slightly higher. Your pet will be gone for around 2 minutes – you’ll see a counter in the top-left hand corner of your screen. Open your pet’s inventory, then press the left shoulder button to “send to town”. So, ensure your pet is only carrying the items you want to sell. You can choose to send your pet to town, and in doing that, it will automatically sell everything in your pet’s inventory. The first way is very useful while you’re out on a quest and don’t want the hassle of making a trip back to town. They transform your pet into various creatures with different abilities and even enhance your pets stats.

There are two ways to sell your items in Torchlight 3. The fish that you obtain are for your pet. You can move items freely between both inventories though, which is useful for item management. Both have 20 slots each, so they fill up rather quickly if you pick up each piece of loot that drops for you. In Torchlight 3, you essentially have two inventories: yours, and your pets. In Torchlight 3, your inventory fills up pretty quickly, so you’ll want to sell items frequently.
